Dutch Open Wayfarer Championship
Invitation for the Dutch Open Wayfarer Championship 9-10 June 2012 at Lake Braassem Hi Wayfarers, On behalf of Nedwa I invite you all to compete for the title of Dutch Wayfarer Champion during the week-end of 9-10 June at the big lake Braassemermeer, located in the neighbourhad of the old city of Leiden between on short distance Amsterdam and The Hague. This year it is a special invitation to the members of the ESA/Estec-sailing club, because this lake is their home-water! The Yachtclub Braassemermeer is one of the bases of the Dutch Sailing Association and offers professional race facilities and a magnificient clubhouse. This Championship is incorporated in the Braassem Summer Regatta (BSR), a club event with a limited number of 5-10 classes and a high fun factor! BSR opens at Friday 8 June with a collective beer and dinner for all participants. Next day Saturday 9 June first race starts at 11 hr. and second race after lunch ashore. After the races there is life-music, bee, dinner and in the evening supporting together the Dutch National Football Team with a big TV-screen. Last day Sunday 10 June third race starts at 10 hr. and fourth race after a quick lunch ashore to be in time after storing the boats for the prize-giving in the late afternoon. Camping is allowed for small tents besides the clubhouse with all facilities of showers, toilets, etc. and for campers at the parking. The entry-fee is only € 32,50 to pay cash at the event and registration has been opened now by internet www.braassemermeer.nl - wedstrijden - inschrijven. For more information contact me:
